All Clean - See What Ive Done

Music Video

“See What I’ve Done” is a haunting visual journey for the band All Clean, directed solo by Colton Batts. Shot in 2023, the project draws heavy inspiration from Italian Giallo cinema- specifically the vivid color palettes, stark lighting, and psychological tension found in the films of Dario Argento. It’s a visceral exploration of regret and obsession, told through bold imagery and minimalist storytelling.

Challenge

with a skeleton crew, the challenge was to capture the eerie elegance of 1970s Italian horror while working with limited resources. Balancing creative ambition with practical constraints, I had to handle a lot- from lighting design to post-production—without sacrificing visual impact or thematic intent.

Objective

The goal was to create a music video that didn’t just support the track, but expanded its emotional narrative. By channeling the visual language of Argento’s Giallo films, the objective was to evoke an unsettling dream-state where beauty and dread coexist. Every shot was designed to feel like a frame from a forgotten horror classic—stylized, surreal, and soaked in atmosphere.

Results

The final video was praised for its distinctive visual identity and cinematic tone, standing out in a crowded digital landscape. It resonated with fans of both the band and horror aesthetics, serving as a calling card for Colton’s ability to merge genre influence with modern storytelling. The project reinforced the power of focused direction, even in solo production environments.
